Mission Statement

Ballyshannon National School seeks to foster a welcoming environment in which the dignity of every 

child will be valued, respected and equally cherished. The school team joins with the parents and community 

to assist the students in developing skills, which will enable them to become independent 

and self-sufficient adults, who will succeed and contribute responsibly in a global community. 

We strive to develop children’s self-esteem and to motivate them to achieve their 

full potential in a spirit of friendship and belonging.
